1.1 Criticize your building proposal from the point of view of energy sustainability: capture of free sun radiation & conservation of energy. In this respect calculate & comment its form factor & orientation

1.2  Space requirements for facilities: think about where are you going to locate the technical rooms & equipment needed

1.3 Check your building proposal from the point of view  of passive fire protection as it is regulated in the Spanish Tech.Code.

It would be very interesting if (voluntarily) some of you send me beforehand your plans showing how they conform to that regulation,so we can project & discuss it in public.

We will contemplate an overview of the problems that are going to appear for your building proposals during the course . We will do so by reviewing some important design aspects, such as the

1.1 Energy Adequacy

1.2 Space demands of facilities and some aspects of the

1.3 Passive Fire Protection.

We will do some of the class-work upon it, so please have that part of the Code (“DB-SI Seguridad en Caso de Incendio”) at hand.
