Remember that it is the deadline for you to mail the final complete Salubrity homework.
We will dedicate the class to reviewing it & solve doubts.
We will introduce the next general HVAC topics.
We will try to fix a date in order to do the salubrity exercise.

FOR NEXT THURSDAY 2013 03 14 (bis)

El próximo jueves día 14 (pido disculpas por la confusión del post anterior) en principio están previsto tanto la entrega  por mail, como la realización del ejercicio.
Por otra parte parece que pudiera haber una huelga de la UPM y quizás se cierre la Escuela, por lo que, si es así(?), habríamos de retrasarlo y como además el día 21 es la semana de viajes …
En este supuesto ya se comunicaría en este Blog la fecha de realización del ejercicio, que si no ocurre nada sigue para el día 14.
En cuanto a la entrega por mail, y dada la indeterminación introducida, se recomienda mantenerla para el día 14, pero se permitiría hasta el 21.

FOR NEXT THURSDAY 2013 03 14

HANDOVER: 1.3 HOT SANITARY WATER & CSW & DRAINAGE

- Before class time, in one pdf, and in landscape orientation please.

INCLUDING:

- A report explaining & justifying your solution (in just one A-4 format).

- Preliminary sketches of the whole solution.
- A sample of the calculations (in just one A-4 format).
- Constructive Plans & Details and a view of a significative part of your proposal (like for example a bathroom), with sufficient detail for you to show the possibility to build it.

- Must include the coordination of facilities: Drainage (in green& brown), Cold Water (in blue) and Hot Water (in orange& yellow), and also with the rest of spaces upon the building´s plans (grayed).
- It counts positively the proposal of measures in order to save energy and water resources.

- You can always change & improve your previous work, modifying parts of your building if necessary.

1st EXERCISE: Salubrity

- At 12:15 we will begin with the (compulsory) exercise for the 1st part :"Salubrity" that is going to last for about one hour.
-Doing it in English is optional.

-It would be about concepts & drawings derived from classes and conferences.

-No documentation is to be used. 
-Bring drawing material with you (color pens, etc.).
-Bring an A3 copy of the canvas of your proposal.

- After the exercise we will continue with a class dedicated to solve personal doubts.

HANDOVER: 1.2 Cold.Sanit.Water

INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM CONTENT:

- A report explaining & justifying your solution (in just one A-4 format).

- Preliminary sketches (sufficient for being able to calculate it).
- A sample of the calculations done for a representative part (in just one A-4 format).

- Plans that must include the Cold Water (in blue) facilities reflecting dimensions & diameters, and coordinated with Drainage (in green & brown) and the rest of spaces upon the building´s plans (grayed).

- You can always change & improve your work, modifying parts of your building if necessary.

- Send it before class time, in one pdf, and in landscape orientation please.

We will proceed with the next topic 1.3  Hot Sanit.Water Facility. Please bring your A3 Canvas and the CTE & Notes from last course.
