FOR NEXT DELIVERIES:

- Constructive Plans & Details for the garages & storage rooms, with the sufficient detail as to show the possibility to build it.

- Must include the coordination  with the rest of spaces upon the building´s plans (grayed).

- A sample of the calculations one for garages, and another for dwellings (each in just one A-4 format).

- You can always change & improve your previous work, modifying parts of your building if necessary.

- Before class time, in one pdf, and in landscape orientation please.

FOR 2012-10-25: CONFERENCE

CONFERENCE: 

- After the first one and a half hours dedicated to the Ventilation Facility, we will go to the Auditoriun  with the rest of the groups to attend a conference (in Spanish) by Andrés Perea about the "Facilities in the Building Project " 
(assistance to conferences is highly recommended, as there will be questions on these topics raised in the exercises).

FOR NEXT THURSDAY 2012 /10 /18

HANDOVER: 1.3 HOT SANITARY WATER

- Before class time, in one pdf, and in landscape orientation please.

INCLUDING:

- A report explaining & justifying your solution (in just one A-4 format).

- Preliminary sketches of the whole solution.
- A sample of the calculations (in just one A-4 format).
- Constructive Plans & Details and a view of a significative part of your proposal (like for example a bathroom), with sufficient detail for you to show the possibility to build it.

- Must include the coordination of facilities: Drainage (in green& brown), Cold Water (in blue) and Hot Water (in orange& yellow), and also with the rest of spaces upon the building´s plans (grayed).
- It counts positively the proposal of measures in order to save energy and water resources.

- You can always change & improve your previous work, modifying parts of your building if necessary.

1st EXERCISE: Salubrity

- At 12:15 we will begin with the (compulsory) exercise for the 1st part :"Salubrity" that is going to last for about one hour.
-Doing it in English is optional.

-It would be about concepts & drawings derived from classes and conferences.

-No documentation is to be used. 
-Bring drawing material with you (color pens, etc.).
-Bring an A3 copy of the canvas of your proposal.

-Please note that the marks for this part will be released on November the 8th.

- After the exercise we will continue with a class dedicated to solve personal doubts.

HANDOVER: 1.2 Cold.Sanit.Water

INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM CONTENT:

- A report explaining & justifying your solution (in just one A-4 format).

- Preliminary sketches (sufficient for being able to calculate it).
- A sample of the calculations (in just one A-4 format).

- Plans that must include the Cold Water (in blue) facilities reflecting dimensions & diameters, and coordinated with Drainage (in green & brown) and the rest of spaces upon the building´s plans (grayed).

- You can always change & improve your work, modifying parts of your building if necessary.

- Send it before class time, in one pdf, and in landscape orientation please.


CLASS:
We will go on with the next topic 1.3 dedicated to the Hot Sanit.Water Facility (1/2). Please bring your A3 Canvas and the CTE & Notes from last course.

FOR NEXT THURSDAY 2012/ 10 / 04

VISIT: 

- Please be with the rest of the groups at the entrance hall of Aparejadores  at 11h:45m  to attend a visit (in Spanish) to their "laboratory" about practical demonstrations of plumbing facilities in buildings (assistance is highly recommended, as there will be questions on these topics raised in the exercises).

CLASS:
- After that we will return to our classroom to continue with the topic dedicated to the Cold Sanit.Water Facility (2/2). Please bring your A3 Canvas and the CTE & Notes from last course to do calculations.

INCLUDING:

- A report explaining & justifying your building proposal & its Previous Thermal Adequacy as  shown by its "Form Factor" (in just one A-4 format).
- A report explaining & justifying your drainage solution (in just one A-4 format).

- Preliminary sketches Plans (sufficient for being able to calculate it).

- Must include the coordinated Drainage Facility (in green& brown) with the sewage system (just one connection) and the rest of spaces & structure & foundations depicted in the building´s plans (grayed).

- A sample of the calculations done for a relevant part (in just one A-4 format).

- In the future you can always change & improve your work, modifying parts of your building if necessary.

- Send before class time, in just one pdf please.

CONFERENCE: 

- After the first two hours dedicated to the Cold Sanit.Water Facility, we will go to the "Aula Magna" with the rest of the groups to attend a conference (in Spanish) about the "Design of the Building as the Previous Installation"  (assistance to conferences is highly recommended, as there will be questions on these topics raised in the exercises).
